A Music Café is first and foremost a provision of local support to people living with dementia, their loved ones and their carers. Using the proven powers of music, our Music Cafés provide a safe and joyous space for those with dementia to find new ways of communication, connection and enhanced wellbeing. Yes. Our Music Cafés are run by a combination of professional musicians and music therapists and our Music Champions. Music Champions are an inspiring group of people including professional carers, community group leaders and volunteers who actively provide dementia support in their local area.
